Ambulance, Jeep Crash Leaves Patient Dead in Forsyth County, NC

It has not been determined if the patient in the Forsyth County EMS ambulance died of injuries in the wreck.

A head-on collision between an ambulance and a Jeep on a Winston-Salem highway left a patient dead Tuesday.

It has not been determined if the person died as a result of injuries in the crash or from a previous medical issue.

Preliminary investigation determined a Jeep crossed the center median and hit the Forsyth County EMS ambulance head-on, WXII reported.

Others in the wreck were transported for treatment of injuries.
