The Bloomfield, NJ, Fire Department has placed in service a new rescue pumper from E-ONE built on a Typhoon X model chassis.
The apparatus includes a four-seat cab with storage space, front discharge, a Ramsey 9,000-lb portable winch with four receivers, and vehicle extrication equipment.
There are two cross lay beds with a transverse compartment above for storage of a back board and other equipment. The cab has a compartment behind the chauffeur's door for turnout gear, and the officer's side has the same. There is also storage space under the rear hose bed for ground ladders and pike poles.
