Sutphen built this pumper boasting 320-cu.-ft. total compartment space for the Scott Township VFD in New Castle.

The Scott Township Volunteer Fire Department in New Castle, PA, took delivery of this pumper built on a Sutphen Monarch heavy-duty custom chassis.

It has an overall height of 10' 8" with a length of 36' 3" and a wheelbase of 238 inches.

The six-seat cab has a 15-inch raised roof and is powered by a 500-hp Cummins X12 engine, Allison Gen 5, EVS4000 transmission with a Leece Neville 420-amp alternator. 

It is outfitted with a Hale Qmax 2,000-gpm single-stage pump and a 1,200-gallon water tank. Discharges include: three 3-inch and seven 2 1/2-inch.

The 3/16-inch extruded aluminum body has Amdor roll-up compartment doors and 320-cu.-ft. total compartment space.

Emergency warning equipment includes a Whelen Freedom LED lightbar, a Roto Ray and Federal Q2B grill-mounted siren.

For scene lighting, it is outfitted with FireTech FT-MB-2.15-FT brow lights, FireTech Guardian Elite scene lights and a Will-Burt light tower.
