Newdale Volunteer Fire Department, Burnsville, NC, has taken delivery of a Midwest Fire side-control, tanker-pumper built on a Freightliner M2 106 chassis. It is powered by a Detroit Diesel 7.7L 6-cylinder, dual-stage 375-hp engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission.
