When the Cayce, KY, Fire Department put out a call for help following the devastating Dec. 10 tornadoes, a Massachusetts town stepped up to help them out.
The Rochester Fire Department had replaced their tanker two years ago and had a 3,000-gallon tanker sitting in reserve.
During a board meeting, the community approved the donation of the tanker to Cayce and a local contractor volunteer to transport the truck to its new home, WCVB reported.
