The Lehi fire engine was responding to a call when the crash occurred.

A 20-year-old woman was killed Friday after a crash involving a fire truck that was responding to a call.

Utah Trooper Quincy Breur said the Lehi fire truck was traveling westbound on S.R. 92, responding to a call with its lights and sirens activated when it approached the intersection and collided with a Chevy Spark that was coming southbound from the I-15 off-ramp.

“The conditions of the intersection at the time of the crash, we’re still investigating that,” Breur said.

The firefighters suffered minor injuries, KSL reported.
