Fiery School Bus, Semi Crash in Rushville, IL, Leaves Three Children, Drivers Dead

Firefighters from Rushville and Schuyler County Fire Protection District found both vehicles fully engulfed in flames.

A fiery crash involving a school bus and a semi in Illinois left five people dead including three students. 

The school bus crossed the center line and crashed head-on into the semi that was hauling sand. Upon impact, both vehicles caught fire.

The truck driver, bus driver and all three children aboard the bus were killed, CBS reported. 

School officials announced that classes Tuesday and Wednesday were cancelled. However, counselors will be available. 

The victims were identified as Maria Miller, 5; Andrew Miller, 3; Noah Driscoll, 3; David Coufal, 72; and Angela Spiker, 57.
