United Plastic Fabricating Inc. delivered 15 foam trailers for response to ethanol type flammable liquid incidents in Massachusetts. The foam trailers were purchased Homeland Security grant monies. The trailers carry 500 gallons of AR-AFFF foam concentrate. Each trailer has two 200’ 120 gpm 1.75” foam handlines, a 300’ 250 gpm 2.5” foam handline. The trailers also have monitors equipped with a 500 gpm foam nozzle with remote proportioning device and a ground base.

The trailers carry 500 gallons of AR-AFFF foam concentrate. Each trailer has two 200’ 120 gpm 1.75” foam handlines, a 300’ 250 gpm 2.5” foam handline. The trailers also have monitors equipped with a 500 gpm foam nozzle with remote proportioning device and a ground base.
Each trailer has a 35 gpm rotary gear concentrate pump for on loading or off loading concentrate and a preconnected 100’ transfer hose.
Each trailer is also equipped with a 2000 watt generator with 500 watt preconnected floodlights.
Trailers of this type have been used successfully at tank fires, tanker rollovers, fuel spills, industrial fires, boat fires, junkyard fires, electrical transformer fires and plane crashes.
