Chatsworth, CA, July 4, 2017—More than 100 Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters responded to a fire in four condominium units that shared a common attic within the wood-frame and stucco building. Here, members of E-107 watch as part of the building’s façade collapse.

Waltham, MA, July 23, 2017—Waltham crews arrived on scene to find fire engulfing two buildings in a five-building interconnected apartment complex that was under construction. Windy and warm conditions fueled the fast-moving eight-alarm fire through the lightweight construction. Crews used a ladder pipe to control the spread of the flames.

Santa Barbara County, CA, July 27, 2017—The Santa Barbara County Fire Department and U.S. Forest Service – Los Padres National Forest responded to reports of a structure fire. The first-in engine found a fully involved adobe-style house with flames having spread to the vegetation. A helicopter from the nearby Whittier Fire was diverted to assist with dousing the flames, which burned approximately 2 acres of vegetation around the home.

Chicago, July 28, 2017—Crews responded to a fire in an industrial building. Several explosions and wall collapses occurred during the incident. Two towers and a snorkel kept the fire in check, and several in-line operations were conducted to supply the master streams.
