LANCASTER CO., N.C. --

The owner of a Lancaster Co, S.C. business said a morning fire will cost him hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Firefighters were called out to Dave Lyles Building Supply, on Riverside Road, around 8:15 a.m. Sunday. Fire Marshal Stephen Blackwelder said the fire had likely been burning for an hour by the time crews showed up.

Firefighters believe lightning sparked the fire. The National Weather Service confirmed three lightning strikes in the area around the time the fire started at Dave Lyles Building Supply.

Dave Lyles, the owner, said cleanup crews will be at his business on Monday.
