10 Oshkosh Striker ARFF Vehicles Delivered to Colombia

OSHKOSH, WIS. (April 12, 2010) – Oshkosh Airport Products, a division of Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE: OSK), announced that it has delivered 10 Striker® Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) vehicles to Operadora de Aeropuertos Centro Norte (AIRPLAN), airport operators based in Medellin, Colombia. AIRPLAN is placing nine Striker 1500 vehicles and one Striker 3000 vehicle at key commercial airports throughout Colombia.

OSHKOSH, WIS. (April 12, 2010) – Oshkosh Airport Products, a division of Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE: OSK), announced that it has delivered 10 Striker® Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) vehicles to Operadora de Aeropuertos Centro Norte (AIRPLAN), airport operators based in Medellin, Colombia. AIRPLAN is placing nine Striker 1500 vehicles and one Striker 3000 vehicle at key commercial airports throughout Colombia.

Oshkosh, working with its local distributor for the region, Bogota based Industrias Ivor S. A. Casa Inglesa, is conducting extensive operator and maintenance training prior to the vehicles being formally placed into service. "It is exciting to complete our training program and have these vehicles on duty to enhance each airport’s emergency response capabilities," added Jones.

The ARFF vehicles are located at the following airports: Rio Negro Airport (one Striker 3000 and two Striker 1500 models); Medellin Airport (two Striker 1500 models); Carepa Airport (one Striker 1500 model); Corosal Airport (one Striker 1500 model); Quibdo Airport (one Striker 1500 model); Monteria Airport: (two Striker 1500 models).

The Striker 1500 features a 4 x 4 all-wheel-drive axle configuration and proprietary technologies such as TAK-4® independent suspension, triple agent firefighting capabilities and Command Zone™ advanced electronics for enhanced maneuverability, firefighting power and reliability. Other features include (6095 L) of water capacity and 210 gallons (795 L) of foam capacity. The Striker 3000 vehicle features (12,200 L) water capacity and a 420- gallon (1590 L) foam capacity.

AIRPLAN is based in Medellin Colombia. The Oshkosh dealer for the region, INDUSTRIAS IVOR SA CASA INGLESA of Bogotá, Colombia, will provide local service and support.
