Pelican Products named to prestigious Inc. list

Magazine's Inc. 5,000 list has identified it as one of America's fastest-growing companies. The list, published annually, highlights U.S.-based, privately held and independent companies with more than $2 million in revenues that have increased revenues significantly during the most recent three-year period.

According to an Inc. press release, companies on the 2007 Inc. 5,000 list produced $190 billion in aggregate revenue - about 1.5 percent of the national gross domestic product, and employed more than 900,000 people. Median revenue for those companies was $9.4 million, and median three-year growth was 140 percent. Pelican's revenue in 2007 was more than $151 million, a nearly 75 percent increase over 2004's revenue.
