Special Summer Hours at the Fire Museum of Maryland

Come on down to the hottest place in town! The Fire Museum of Maryland is open Wednesday through Saturday, 10 – 4 pm, June through August. The third largest fire museum in the world has on exhibit 40 antique fire engines and trucks dating back to the 1806. New exhibits include Engine Company 8 - an 1871 Baltimore Fire House reconstructed inside the main gallery. Visitors can pull an alarm box and see the Alarm Office Operator send out the call. The heroism and the rebuilding of the city are discussed in an exhibit and video on the Great Baltimore Fire of 1904.
