A Texas firefighter collapsed and died July 26 after returning home from his shift.Baytown Firefighter Gaston Gagne, 46, had responded to three incidents earlier in the day, according to the USFA.Gagne served more than 18 years with the department. He also was a member of the HAZMAT team, a member of BEAT Alley’s youth fire prevention team and most recently, joined several others in establishing a regional collapse rescue team.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 30 at Sacred Heart Church. The Rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m.
Mass will start at 11 a.m. Burial will immediately follow.
All off-duty members are encouraged to attend in dress uniform.
