An Oklahoma City firefighter died from COVID-19 on Christmas Eve.
Major Andy Davis, a 20-year veteran of the department, was assigned to Fire Station 10-C.
Davis, 45, is from a family of firefighters. His father, Johnny Davis, retired as a captain. Two of his brothers, Tony Davis and Scott Davis, are a deputy chief and major. His newphew is Corporal A.J. Davis.
"Like his brothers, nephew and father, Andy loved the job and serving the residents of Oklahoma City," the department posted on Facebook.
