Watch: Firefighter Jumps to Escape Collapsing Wall at Maxatawny Township, PA, Fire

Crews in Berks County reported a house and another barn sustained heat damage.

A firefighter narrowly escaped a falling wall at a barn fire in Maxatawny Township.

The incident occurred while firefighters from various departments, including Fleetwood, were battling a two-alarm fire. 

The farmer managed to rescue the animals before firefighters arrived, WFMZ reported.

One firefighter was transported for a heat-related issue.

A nearby barn and house sustained heat damage.
