Mar. 12—Firefighters were battling a blaze at an office building in west Houston Wednesday evening, according to a post made to social media by the Houston Fire Department.
The department asked that residents avoid the area near 6689 West Sam Houston Parkway, in the Chinatown area, as emergency personnel work to contain the blaze. There were no reported injuries by around 8:15 p.m., according to HFD. The fire broke out around 5:15 p.m. at an office building that housed the Tran Law Group and the Houston branch of Metro City Bank, according to HFD's incident tracker.
