PINE GROVE, Ore. (AP) -- A 1,200-acre fire burned Monday on the north side of the Warm Springs Indian Reservation, Oregon's largest wildfire so far this summer.

Northwest Interagency Coordination spokesman David Widmark said 130 people were fighting the Log Springs fire, but have had no luck containing it.

Twenty-one homes in a subdivision near the small town of Simnasho in Central Oregon were potentially threatened by the fire and were under a voluntary evacuation, fire center spokesman Roger Peterson said.

An evacuation center was set up at a longhouse in Simnasho, and as of Monday morning, 12 people were there, according to Peterson.

``It is very dry conditions over there, and there is a possibility of some high winds,'' Peterson said. ``One of the major concerns is that a team out of Bend was on the fire all last night, and those initial attack folks are getting tired. We're trying to get some fresh crews in very soon.''

The fire was first reported Sunday afternoon. A cause has yet to be determined.
