At Least 70 Cincinnati Firefighters Battle 4-Alarm Blaze

Cincinnati crews rescued a woman in a wheelchair from a four-alarm blaze that spread through five homes early Monday.

At least 70 firefighters responded to the blaze, which broke out at about 4:30 a.m. in the city's CUF neighborhood, WCPO-TV reports. The fire partially collapsed the house it started in before flames jumped to neighboring buildings.

Details about the condition of the woman saved from the fire were not released. No one else was hurt in the blaze.

Crews eventually were able to contain the fire by about 6 a.m., according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. The blaze displaced three families, and investigators are still trying to determine the cause.
