IN Department Responds to a Spicy Spill

Firefighters with the Monroe Township Fire Department were called to a semi tanker leaking hot sauce on an I-65 off-ramp near Henryville.

When firefighters arrived, a large semi was leaking hot sauce down the off-ramp shoulder.

Firefighters made dikes to control the spilling sauce while waiting for another tanker truck to off-load the product.

In a Facebook post the department said, “All fire crews cleared the scene without incident and without any of the runaway sauce for the next taco-Tuesday.”
