Phoenix Firefighters Critically Hurt in Fatal Crash

Three Phoenix firefighters were seriously injured in a fatal crash involving an apparatus and a pickup truck Sunday.

Two adults and a 6-month-old child were killed in the accident, KPHO-TV reports. The injured firefighters were taken to the hospital in critical condition.

In photos and video footage of the accident, the fire apparatus was seen flipped on its side, and the pickup truck appeared to have extensive damage to its front end.

It's not known how the accident happened or if the firefighters were responding to a call at the time.
