Search Continues for Missing, Possibly Endangered FL Firefighter

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is asking for help finding firefighter James Von Minden, who appeared disoriented when he was last seen Friday in the Jupiter Farms area.

JUPITER FARMS, FL—Authorities are asking for the public's help in finding a man who went missing Friday in the Jupiter Farms area.

James Von Minden was last seen at about 5:30 p.m. Friday near Randolph Siding Road and Alexander Run. He appeared disoriented and is considered to be missing and possibly endangered, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said.

A Broward County firefighter and paramedics association identified Von Minden as a firefighter and posted a message to social media asking the public to "help us find our brother."

Von Minden is 5-foot-11 and 210 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen a wearing a black T-shirt, dark-colored shorts and sandals.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged contact the PBSO Dispatch at 561-688-3400, or the nearest law-enforcement agency.
