Paralyzed Selma, CA, Firefighter Dies on 10th Anniversary of Mishap

The department dedicated a ladder truck to Firefighter Chris Nelson just 15 days ago.

A Selma firefighter-paramedic left paralyzed in a training incident died in his sleep Thursday -- the 10th anniversary,

Former Firefighter/Paramedic Chris Nelson, 55, was known for positive attitude and kind personality, KGPE reported. 

He joined the department in 2006.

Just 15 days ago, the department dedicated a ladder truck to him.
