A Memphis firefighter was rushed to the hospital Thanksgiving morning after sustaining burns to the face.
Fire crews were called to the multi-story apartment building on Wicks Avenue about 7:30 a.m., according to WREG.
The firefighter suffered second-degree burn injuries on the face, and was transported to Region One Burn Center, Fox13Memphis.com reported.
Several residents were displaced by the fire, which the cause is being investigated.
