First Responder Center for Excellence Enters into Strategic Alliance

Sept. 16, 2024
Announces partnership with Brothers Helping Brothers aimed at enhancing the health, wellness, and safety of firefighters across the United States.

Beavercreek, Ohio, September 15, 2024 – The First Responder Center for Excellence (FRCE) and Brothers Helping Brothers are proud to announce a new strategic alliance aimed at enhancing the health, wellness, and safety of firefighters across the United States. This collaboration will bring together two leading organizations dedicated to supporting the fire service community, focusing on promoting health and wellness initiatives for first responders as part of the annual Brothers Helping Brothers health and wellness conference in Beavercreek, Ohio.

FRCE Managing Director Frank Leeb emphasized that both organizations share core missions focused on supporting first responders, making this collaboration a natural fit. Leeb, who has been a speaker and attendee at several of these conferences, will serve as this year's keynote speaker. He also noted that smaller regional conferences, like Brothers Helping Brothers, represent the future of fire service training and education. They provide direct access to critical knowledge, close to home, and Brothers Helping Brothers has been doing this successfully for years."

Nick Magoteaux, founder of Brothers Helping Brothers, echoed Leeb's sentiments, saying, "By forming a strategic alliance with the FRCE, we bring the credibility and support of one of the premier national organizations working in this space. This collaboration will raise greater awareness about critical firefighter health and wellness issues, and it's truly a win-win for the fire service."

Jim Burneka Jr., co-creator of the Health & Wellness Conference is thrilled to use the conference as a vessel to share the FRCE mission and provide the tools needed for our firefighters to have a long and healthy career, followed by an equally long and healthy retirement.

Together, the FRCE and Brothers Helping Brothers will work to create new opportunities for education, training, and awareness, ensuring that first responders have access to the resources they need to stay healthy, safe, and resilient.
