HazSim Enters South American Market with New Partner

Oct. 7, 2024
HazSim entered an exclusive agreement with Hazfire to bring its unique firefighter and hazmat training platform to South America and Central America.

In their effort to bring robust training to firefighters in Latin America’s industrial and municipal sectors, HazSim entered an exclusive agreement for Hazfire to be its distributor and technical experts in those countries.

“The need to properly train firefighters to safely handle hazmat incidents where air monitoring is critical does not stop at our U.S. borders,” says Phil Ambrose, a California-based firefighter who invented the HazSim training platform.

In addition to procuring customers for the HazSim platform, Hazfire will provide customers with training and technical support. This, Ambrose says, will make sure customer service is faster and delivered in their native language.

“We rarely have technical issues with our platform,” Ambrose says. “But when we do, it is essential that we solve those issues fast and fully. It doesn’t do anyone any good if the units are sitting on a shelf. We want our customers using HazSim often and to its fullest design capabilities.”

Hazfire says its team of experts will work closely with companies in mining, petrochemical, transportation, and other industrial sectors to design and execute effective training programs that contribute to the safety and protection of their operations.

“We’re very excited to begin working with Hazfire toward our shared goal of protecting Latin American firefighters, workers and civilians through realistic and meaningful hazmat training,” Ambrose says.
