A car flipped on its side as it tried to pass a Massachusetts ambulance at the scene of another emergency.
A Sharon Fire Department was responding to a previous traffic accident when another vehicle approached the crash scene, police stated in an online post. That vehicle then tried to get around the ambulance.
"(A) car overcompensated when passing an ambulance which was trying to assist someone in another (motor vehicle) crash," police stated. "The result was a close call for paramedics and a police officer."
As the car was trying to pass, it crashed and flipped on its side. The accident wedged the car between the ambulance and a small hill by the side of the road.
No one was injured in the crash, according to police. It's not clear in the online post when this incident happened.
The car's driver was charged with negligent operation of a motor vehicle in connection with the incident, WYCN-TV reports.
"We are so thankful no one was hurt," police stated.
