Engine 172 Arrives in Wapato, Wash.

Firefighters with the City of Wapato, Wash., Fire Department have taken delivery of Engine 172, a KME pumper built on an International 4400 four-door cab and chassis.

THE CITY OF WAPATO, WA, FIRE DEPARTMENT has taken delivery of Engine 172, a KME pumper built on an International 4400 four-door cab and chassis. To fight fire, it has a Hale 1,750-gpm pump, a 750-gallon water tank, a 2.5-gallon Firemans Friend and a TFT deck gun. It's overall length is 33 feet. Other features include a Challenger WB Body constructed of 3/16-inch aluminum, Amdor roll-up doors, Code 3 warning and scene lights and a Hannay booster reel.
