Green Bay Metro Fire Department chose CustomFire to remount two 13-year-old pumpers on new chassis.

After 13 years of running two CustomFire pumpers, the Green Bay Metro Fire Department chose to remount the original bodies on two new chassis.

For each rig, CustomFire mounted the original body on a Spartan MetroStar chassis powered by a Cummins L9 450-hp engine with an Allison 3000 EVS transmission.

The concealed bolted construction bodies include top-mount pumps, roll-up compartment doors, removable speedlay hosebeds, and slide-In ladder and pike pole storage.

Suppression includes a Hale Q-MAX 1,500-gpm midship mounted pump, a 750-gallon water tank, 30-gallon foam cell and a FoamPro 2001 single agent foam system.

Emergency warning equipment includes a Federal Q2B mechanical siren, Grover air horns, a Whelen LED lightbar, warning lights and siren, FireTech LED scene lights, LED marker and compartment lights and Fire Research telescoping scene lights.
