Union County West End, PA, Fire Co firefighters have waited 26 years for a new apparatus. Earlier this year, they took delivery of a 2018 Ferrara tanker which replaces a 1989 Kenworth unit they built themselves. The new Tanker 7 is built on a Ferrara Inferno cab and chassis with a six-occupant cab. It is powered by 600-hp Cummins engine and an Allison 4000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale 2,000-gpm QMax pump and a 3,000-gallon tank
