The Dorrance Township Volunteer Fire Company put this 2,500-gallon water tender by Sutphen on a Kenworth cab and chassis in service.

Sutphen built this water tender for the Dorrance Township Volunteer Fire Company in Luzerne County.

The rig is built on a 2021 Kenworth T-80 chassis with a two-door, two-seat extended climate controlled cab and is powered by a Cummins 565-hp X-15 engine and Allison EVS4500 transmission.

The Hale QMAX XS-200 single-stage pump is supplied by a 2,500-gallon UPF Poly Tank III. There is a  20-gallon foam tank with a Hale Smartfoam 3.3 system.

Features include a Kussmaul auto-eject battery conditioner, Trident air prime, LED compartment lighting, TFT Radius deck gun, side and rear Newton dump valves, and rear Hannay booster hose reel. Also included are a Zico swing down 3,000-gallon portable tank lift, Amdor shutters, a Firetech Hi-Viz LER brow light and a thru-the-tank ladder chute.

Warning systems include Whelen LED emergency lights and a rear arrow stick.
