Join Fire Service Leaders in a Home Fire Sprinkler Campaign
Today’s new homes create unprecedented dangers when fires occur in them. They burn hotter and faster, becoming deadly in as little as two minutes. That puts both occupants and our nation’s firefighters at extreme risk.
Every new home built today should be protected with installed fire sprinklers. But across the country there are many challenges preventing homes from being protected with this proven technology.
Listen in as U.S. Fire Administrator Chief Keith Bryant, IAFC President Chief Gary Ludwig and NFPA President Jim Pauley share why it is so important for the fire service to work together to confront these challenges, during Home Fire Sprinkler Week and going forward.
NFPA and HFSC initiated Home Fire Sprinkler Week to unite the fire service around this vital community risk reduction topic. Working together, we can educate about the problem of home fires and build stronger interest in life-saving home fire sprinklers to protect civilians, responders and our communities.
