La. Crews Rescue Baby From Fire

Shreveport crews successfully rescued a one-year-old girl from a house fire this morning, according to KSLA-TV.Firefighters responded to the call after the blaze was reported at approximately 11 p.m. in the 3100 block of Syphon Street. When crews arrived, flames were coming from both sides of the house, according to the report.Once inside the structure, a firefighter found the baby crawling on the floor and carried him to safety.

When crews arrived, flames were coming from both sides of the house, according to the report.

Once inside the structure, a firefighter found the baby crawling on the floor and carried him to safety.

An adult and four children in the house at the time of the fire also escaped.

The rescued baby was transported to LSU Hospital where she was last listed in serious but stable condition.
