Georgia Bus Fire Melts Traffic Lights

SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. --

A huge fire destroyed a camper bus and melted traffic lights along a busy road in Sandy Springs.

Fire crews quickly put out the blaze Monday morning near the intersection of Abernathy Road and Mt. Vernon Highway.

Police said the camper was traveling in the westbound lane of Abernathy Road. Lights are out at the intersection after they melted from the massive fire.

A hole could be seen at the top of the bus from Chopper 2.

There was no word on the cause of the fire or possible injuries.
