Maryland Firefighters Hurt at Fire

FREDERICK COUNTY, MD - Two firefighters are recovering after helping to fight a house fire on Braddock Mountain Sunday morning.

Both were taken to Frederick Memorial Hospital with minor burns, but have since been treated and released.

There was one person home when the fire broke out, but that person was able to get out safely.

Firefighters had the flames out within 45 minutes.

Officials say there is substantial damage to the house, estimated at $350,000.

There is no word yet on the cause.
