INDIANAPOLIS --
A man was killed in a fire early Sunday morning on Indianapolis' southwest side.
The fire broke out at about 2:20 a.m. in the 500 block of South Holmes Avenue.
Firefighters said a 47-year-old man was in the house when they arrived.
Firefighters tried to rescue the man but were not successful.
Investigators said they are not sure what caused the fire.
