Countryside Fire Busy With Safety Education Programs

Countryside Fire Protection District reports that the batteries were changed in nearly 1,200 residential smoke detectors and almost 1,900 people developed and practiced a fire escape plan for their homes as a result of its new on-line fire, safety education program, Get A Kick Out of Fire Safety, co-sponsored by the District and the Chicago Fire Major League Soccer Team.
