The conference program is now available for the 2024 Station Design Conference. The conference is a unique learning and networking experience designed to connect public safety officials, fire chiefs, police chiefs, project managers and municipal managers who are actively involved in fire station and law enforcement station design.

The Fire-Rescue Training Center accurately replicates emergency scenarios that can and do occur in Plano and provides practical skills training that convincingly mimics real-life situations.
The facility has a state-of-the-art decontamination/laundry, administration, apparatus maintenance, dispatch and training facilities.
Station 8 is a 13,725-sq.-ft., single-story station that has 4 apparatus bays, 13 gender-neutral dormitories, 4 bathrooms, a fitness room, and a training room.
The 15,000-sq.-ft shared facility houses a full fire station that has three pull-thru apparatus bays, the city’s backup 9-1-1 dispatch center, an ICC 500 storm shelter and a police substation.
