Course #1: January 21, 2012 This course is designed to provide First Responders with the skills and knowledge required to safely and effectively respond to incidents on and through the ice. Participants must be in good physical condition and must be comfortable in deep water while wearing an ice rescue suit. The courses consist of 4-hours classroom and 5-hours of instruction on and through the ice. Courses meet and exceed NFPA 1670 Standard for Technical Rescue.
