February 13, 2025, Guilford, CT – Defibtech, a U.S. manufacturer of life-saving medical equipment, announced today that AJ Pace will assume the role of President & CEO of the company. Pace takes the reigns from Keiichiro Yoshizawa who will move on to become General Manager of US Operations and President & CEO of Nihon Kohden North America, a division of Defibtech’ s parent company Nihon Kohden Corporation.
Pace has a long history of accomplishments at Defibtech. He first joined the company in 2003 as an intern and has since taken on various roles within the organization, including Production Manager, Director of Manufacturing, Vice President of Manufacturing, Vice President of Corporate Development, Vice President of Global Marketing and most recently Senior Vice President, Operations.

As a long-time Defibtech employee, Pace was an integral part of bringing Defibtech’s products to market and growing their global reach.
Pace holds an undergraduate degree in marketing from Southern Connecticut State University. He resides in Connecticut with his wife and two children. In his free time, he is actively involved in coaching his children in youth sports and is an active member of local youth sports leagues. Pace looks forward to engaging with Defibtech’ s teams at both Branford and Guilford, CT locations, as well with the company’s valued partners.
