Dell Introducing a Completely Redesigned Line of Rugged Latitude Laptops.

Oct. 25, 2018

The three machines released have been engineered to meet the needs of Dell’s toughest customers across a number of extreme industries  – manufacturers, military, emergency responders, field engineers, explorers and anyone else who need reliable computers that can take a severe licking.

This particular refresh modernizes the Rugged line in a number of ways. The displays are much brighter via a high-definition graphics monitor with glove compatible touch capabilities and anti-glare shielding for outside work in the sun. Swappable dual batteries means you never have to shut down. 4G/LTE provides high bandwidth connectivity on the go, and in the case of the new 5420 the device is 22 percent lighter and thinner.
