Deccan International Offers Cooperative Purchasing Option to Fire & EMS Services
Deccan International, a leading provider of custom-built software tools for Fire and EMS, was recently awarded a publicly solicited contract made available through NPPGov/FireRescue GPO, a national public cooperative purchasing organization.
Deccan International has served Fire and EMS for more than 20 years, providing custom-built software tools to effectively manage daily tactical decisions and help leaders make the best possible long-term planning decisions. NPPGov/FireRescue GPO is a national cooperative purchasing organization offering publicly solicited contracts to fire departments nationwide. Contracts are created through a public RFP process by a Lead Public Agency. Access to cooperative contracts is free and there are no purchasing obligations. Contracts available through NPPGov/FireRescue GPO save departments time and money in the procurement process.
“We’re really pleased to make Deccan’s technologies available to our members,” said Bill DeMars, Vice President of NPPGov. “Fire and EMS services benefit from critical data tools like these to improve operations and delivery.”
For Deccan, which is used by the majority of metro fire departments in the U.S., the new partnership means easier access to its critical technology—including fire station planning, deployment analysis and optimal move-up recommendations.
“Every day, we want to help Fire and EMS services across the nation take the guesswork out of keeping their communities safe,” said Raj Nagaraj, Deccan co-founder. “We’re happy that our technology is now more readily available through NPPGov/FireRescue GPO.”
