THE BAYOU CANE FIRE DISTRICT in Houma, LA, has taken delivery of a BullEx 21-foot training trailer. The kitchen training room features a smoking outlet, chemical cabinet, burning cooktop, 911 phone and interactive smoke detector response scenarios. The bedroom training room is equipped with a heated and smoking door to let trainees “feel for heat” and then evacuate through a sliding window and exterior-mounted escape ladder.
