Van Collides with OK Ambulance Headed to Call

A Pafford EMS ambulance was using an emergency pass-through to reach a traffic accident in Tulsa when it was struck by a van, injuring two people.

The incident happened at about 1 a.m. past the Catoosa exit on the Will Rogers Turnpike in Tulsa, KTUL-TV reports. A Pafford EMS ambulance was using a center median emergency pass-through to reach an accident when it was struck by a van.

The crash injured two people in the van. They were taken to the hospital in another ambulance, and they're expected to recover from their injuries.

No one inside the ambulance was injured. The ambulance wasn't carrying a patient at the time, according to KTUL.
