Hebron and Salisbury fire and EMS personnel worked together to treat and package the victims for transport.

Two people were injured when a bi-plane crashed in a wheat field near Salisbury.

The 70-year-old pilot was flnow by Maryland State Police helicopter to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, while the 24-year-old passenger was transported to Tidal Health in Salisbury, according to a post from Hebron Volunteer Fire Department. 

Crews from Hebron and Salisbury used an aerial ladder during the extrication operation.

The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash that occurred near Log Cabin Road.
