Raw video shows around three dozen San Francisco firefighters using ropes to pull up a man who fell from a cliff near Dead Man's Point in the city's Outer Richmond neighborhood.

The San Francisco Fire Department rescued an injured man from a steep cliff near the Legion of Honor museum early Friday.

About three dozen firefighters and National Park Service rangers responded to the report of a person falling over a cliff at 7:40 a.m. near Dead Man's Point along El Camino del Mar in the Outer Richmond, SFFD Lt. Jonathan Baxter told CBS News.

Video footage shows the rescue crew using ropes and a stretcher to pull the person to safety.

The victim was transported from the scene in an ambulance, according to NBC Bay Area.

This rescue comes after five teenagers caught in a rip current Thursday were pulled from the chilly waters at Ocean Beach.
