Photo Story: Trench Collapse Requires Ill. Rescuers

A construction worker was rescued after a collapse occurred at the work site in Niles on July 19.

A technical rescue box alarm  was sounded and it brought crews from: Glenview Highland Park, Wilmette, Park Ridge, Prospect Hrights, Des Plaines, Skokie, Northfield, Evanston,

A vacuum truck was brought in to assist with debris removal to access and rescue the patient in about 90 minutes.
